Application
The Bucher HP 14 compact hydraulic laboratory press is dedicated for pressing, dejuicing and extraction trials for various raw materials in lab or pilot scale applications. The results allow an upscale to the assumed yield and capacity data of an industrial fruit press of the type HPXi / HP.
Design and functionality
The Bucher HP14 compact hydraulic laboratory press is especially well suited for low-turbidity separation of liquids providing high yields and low suspended solids in the liquid. A pressing cylinder is swivel-mounted on a tilting frame. The pressure piston uses hydraulic force to create the desired pressure on the mash. Juice extraction is accomplished by a drainage element which is looped onto the piston. A compact hydraulic assembly to generate the pressure is attached to a mobile frame.
The piston is controlled by a manual valve. Manual loosening of the press cake is possible. The maximum filling amount is 12 liters. |
