Pneumatic fruit press for dejuicing of apples, pears, stone fruits and berries.
• Bucher drainage system provides high yield and juices with low solid content
• Closed, sanitary design • Automatic pressing program with adjustable pressure increase • Internal leaching in the press possible • Integrated CIP program • Low investment and low operating costs Application
The Bucher MultiPress is suitable for a wide range of solid-liquid separation tasks. The Bucher MultiPress can be used for the extraction of apples, pears, berries, stone fruits and vegetables. It is the right choice if a high extraction yield combined with low spin down solids is required. The yield of valuable substances can be further increased by leaching of the pomace with water.
Design and functionality
The press concept is based on a combination of the Bucher Vaslin pneumatic grape press and the unique drainage elements of the Bucher Foodtech hydraulic fruit press. A compressor and a turbine allow high speed deflation und inflation of the membrane. The mash can be fed into the Bucher MultiPress either through the large central double door or through the central inlet pipe. After filling the press several pressing cycles are executed until the desired press result is achieved. A pressing cycle comprises the gentle pressing of the product by deflation of the membrane and subsequent intensive loosening of the press cake while membrane is inflated and the press unit is rotating. During pressing the juice passes through the drainage elements into the juice channels mounted inside the tank and is finally collected in the trough below the press. After the pressing cycles the pomace is emptied through the large central dou-ble door in the tank.
The PLC control allows automatic pressing and CIP cleaning. The operator screen is mounted on the press and allows intuitive operation of the control system. Automatic programmes can be selected with a series of pre-set data for pres-sure rise, pressure holding, decompression and rotation. |
