The cross-flow filtration unit Flavy LabStar is suitable for process evaluation under extreme process conditions with different types of tubular modules.
The highly flexible design offers the possibility to clarify liquids as well as high viscous media and also to increase significantly the concentration of emulsions and suspensions. The compact design of the Flavy LabStar allows the operation with small product volumes in batch or continuous mode.
The scale up to industrial sizes is simple.

Modules, tanks, frequency controlled pumps, sensors and control panel are mounted on a skid with wheels, ready for operation. The Flavy LabStar can be operated in continuous, pressure controlled mode or manually. Due to diafiltration highest yields are achievable. The possibility to run at high temperatures and pressures offers a wide range of applications. Connectors are in sanitary design and the unit is CIP-capable.
